Bunga Sapit Udang


 

Heloconia name derived from the word helikonios a Greek vocabulary. Lobster-claws is a genus of about 100 to 200 species of plants. This tropical flower is native of the islands in the Pacific Ocean, America and the islands west to Indonesia. 

 

Most of the Lobster-claws species are found in tropical rain forests in this area. The tree have common names called: "lobster-claws", "wild bananas". The flowers plants or often called as Lobster-claws, grows in a clump and will usually bloom when the rainy season arrives. 

 

The flowers are oval shaped with a unique combination of color, almost like the shape of shrimp and has a yellow mixed red color but there are also yellow. Lobster-claws species have uniqueness in the flowering season in which each species has its own spring itself with a different time. In this world there are many kinds of diversity Lobster-claws.
