The Picture of Jasmines
In Indonesian Jasmine flower very popular, many people called; Melati, Melati putih. Other names in the world is royal jasmine, Spanish or Catalonian jasmine as well as jati, jasmijn, jasmin, jazmín. Jasmines is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family. In the world Jasmine have many species around 200 species. Jasmines are native to tropical and subtropical plants with regions of Australasia, Asia and Africa. From the 200 species, only one is native from Europe. Although not native to Europe, a number of jasmine species have become naturalized in Mediterranean Europe.
For example the Spanish jasmine was originally from Iran and western south Asia. Spanish jasmine now naturalized in the Iberian peninsula. The flowers are typically around 2.5 cm (0.98 in) in diameter with white or yellow. In the world Jasmine not only be used as an aromatic scent but it also has several uses, such as a herbal medicine. At the16th century, in French have manufacturers to started producing jasmine in the manufacture of perfumes. In the east, jasmine has been used as perfumes and as a herbal remedy since several thousand years ago. The Chinese used jasmine flowers like a herbal remedy tea and for cleansing as well as for the treatment. In China, Jasmine flowers are known as "mo li" and they are widely used as a scenting ingredient.
Jasmine tea also has been found in Arabian. The Arabian jasmine has been made since 300 AD. Jasmine contains salicylic acid, linalool and other alkaloids.These contains gives the jasmine many uses as a herbal remedy: an aphrodisiac, a relaxant for nerves, a sedative, an astringent assists in increasing milk flow and as an analgesic. The jasmine is also used to help build up immunity and to reduce fevers.
