Pohon sosis or sausage tree is called Kigelia Africana. This tree originally grown in Africa that stretches from Chad to South Africa. The genus name comes from the Mozambican Bantu name, kigeli-keia, while the common names sausage tree and cucumber tree refer to the long, sausage-like fruit. Kigelia comes from the local language (Mozambique) which means a kind of sausage food. So here called the sausage tree because it looks like a giant sausage.
