Pegagan


 

Centella asiatica is widely grown in Indonesia, particularly in cool climates. It is a creeping plant that grows wild are found on the edge of the road, plantation, farm, home page as well as rice paddies. The plant is widespread in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Japan, India, China and Australia and then spread to many other countries. This plants is originated from tropical Asia region. In Indonesia popular with the name "Antanan" or "Daun kaki Kuda".

Types of Centella asiatica, is often found in Indonesia is green and red. Red Pegagan is often referred to as antanan rock and antanan gardens or as many found in the rocks, dry and open.
