Geographical distribution: Myanmar, Peninsular Thailand, Peninsular
Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Java, Borneo and the Philippines
Uses: for interior trim, mouldings, packing cases. Also used in traditional
medicine; leaves for diarrhoea, gum for glue
Life form and origin: small tree, indigenous plant
