Gelang

 

The tree is one of the wild plants that found at all area, in the tropics and regions in four season. This tree also have many species around 40 – 100 species in the world. This tree is easy to growing wherever area, such wild nature in field of agricultural. The tree also can find in hard area such as side of the high way in the big city. Purslane have small flower with yellow, after flowering it will be produce the seed. These plants can reproduce by seed or cutting. The tree also known as Pig weed, Little Hog weed and Moss rose. In Indonesian local name Purslane called such: "Gelang", "Krokot" (Java). The name for other country is: Malay: "Gelang Pasir", Thailand: "Phak bia-yai", Philippines: "Gulasiman".
