At my home had been grow the trees with five flower petals with various color, the name is Madagascar rose periwinkle. I have three kind of flower color such as white, red and pink. Rose periwinkle is tropical plants and widely grows in other county. This plants is long time used as herbal medicinal and ornamental tree in the garden. 

 

Rose periwinkle is one of exotic flower in Indonesia. many people like this flower cause of color and easy to grows, many name for Rose periwinkle in local Indonesia such as: "Bunga Tapak Dara, kembang tapak doro (Java)" etc. For other country the flower popular also, many country like this flower and many name for it. In Malaysia called: " Kemunting cina", "pokok rumput jalang", "pokok kembang sari cina", or "pokok ros pantai", "Tsitsirika (Filipina)" and Soldaten bloem ( Ducth ).
