Turkey berry, mini-eggplant
Takokak with common name as Turkey berry, Mini-eggplant ; Indonesia: " pokak", " takokak", " terong pipit", "rimbang" ; the Philippines: "takapasin", "taogotan", "balbalusa"; Thailand: "makhuaphung", "makhwaeng".
Turkey berry are plants of the Solanaceae tribe whose fruit and seeds are commonly used as a vegetable or spice. Turkey berry are small shrubs such as wild plants, whose height can reach up to 5 m, but most are less than 2 m.
